EventMachine In-depth

EventMachine is a ruby gem that allows to easily write asynchronous servers and clients without writing code that creates sockets, messes with SSL, and any such nonsense.

The event-driven-model of programming requires some special considerations that are not apparent when first trying it out and there are many pitfalls to fall through.
